1.

Enter the amount of purchase and press the green button.

2.

Put the card into the terminal with the chip forward (if there is no chip, swipe the magnetic line on the right side of terminal or use a contactless card).

3.

Follow the terminal's instructions, ask for PIN or signature.

4.

The first receipt printed by the terminal is the merchant's copy, the second one is the customer's.

Cancellation

In case of entering wrong amount, there is an option to cancel the last transaction.

This transaction can only be repeated in the presence of card owner.

1.

Press menu button
(F4 below the screen on the right). Select transactions menu (0 button) and select 'Cancel last trn' (2 button).

2.

Always check if the authorization number on the receipt is the same as the one on the screen.

3.

If the numbers are the same, press green button. The first receipt printed by the terminal is the merchant's copy, the second is the customer's.

4.

If the numbers are not the same, it means that it's not the last transaction, it cannot be cancelled.

Refund

With this function you can refund a purchase to the card owner's account.

1.

Press menu button
(F4 below the screen on the right).

2.

Select 'Transactions' menu
(0 button), then select 'Refund' menu 1 button).

3.

The terminal will ask for a code, which is changing every day. Call us on +36 1 793 67 76 and select menu 4.

End of day

You can print the terminal's daily summary. This function only gives information to the merchant, everyday at mindnight the system closes the day.

1.

Press menu button
(F4 below the screen on the right).

2.

Select 'Admin' menu
(1 button), and select 'Close batch' menu (1 button).

3.

The terminal prints the daily summary.

Receipt copy

In case you need to reprint the last transaction's receipt.

1.

Press menu button
(F4 below the screen on the right).

2.

Select 'Admin' menu
(1 button).

3.

Select 'Receipt copy' menu
(4 button).

Accepting SZÉP cards

Széchenyi pihenőkártya (SZÉP card) has several pockets. In order to accept SZÉP cards, you need to have a contract with the issuer.

OTP and K&H SZÉP cards

1.

Enter amount.

2.

Swipe the card on the magnetic reader and select the corresponding pocket.

In case of a successful transaction, the terminal prints two receipts, the first copy is the merchant's, the second one is the customer's.

MKB SZÉP cards

Accepting Erzsébet-utalvány Plusz cards

The Erzsébet-utalvány Plusz card is an easy way to manage and pay with your e-vouvhers. Using it is similar to a credit card. In order to accept Erzsébet-utalvány Plusz cards, you need to have a contract with the issuer.

1.a

If the POS terminal is connected to the cash register, you need to select the corresponding pocket on the cash register, which sends the transaction to the terminal.

1.b

If the POS terminal is not connected to the cash register, press 'X' button on the terminal, and simply swipe the card as usual.

Select the type of voucher the user would like to use. The number appearing before the type of voucher indicates which button should be pressed to select it. After swiping the card, you need to select the corresponding pocket. Available pockets on the terminal.

If you select the wrong pocket, you can go back to the previous menu with the yellow button. You can approve the correct pocket with the green button.

4.

After selecting the pocket enter the amount!

5.

Press the green button, and after checking the amount the customer needs to approve the amount by pressing the green button again!

6.

The terminal aks for PIN code, the card owner needs to enter it and approve it with the green button.

7.

The terminal gives information about the process, like credit card payments.

Tear the printed receipt!

There is no need to sign either receipts by the customer. The merchant needs to keep their copy and give the customer's copy with the bill/invoice to the customer.

10.

If the transaction is rejected, please inform the customer that the card needs to be activated before the first use.

Paper

The terminal uses 57x40mm thermal paper. To change it, open the terminal cover, take out the old paper, put in the new one holding the end of the tape with two fingers and close the terminal cover.

Troubleshooting manual

In case of system error, please do the following steps.

1.

Restart the system by holding dot and yellow buttons together for 2-3 seconds. If the terminal does not restart automatically, press the green button.

2.

Check connectivity by pressing F4 button on the right side of the screen.

The test is successful if 'Admin accepted' appears on the screen.

3.

If the test is unsuccessful, check the terminal's internet connection. In case of mobile connection, check the connectivity icon in the top right corner.
